Following our disappointing 2-2 draw, which lets be honest feels more like a defeat, something needs to change. We really have been very poor in recent weeks – if results don’t start picking up IMMEDIATELY, then I think the best thing for the club would be if Benitez simply left.

After the match, Benitez said: “We did everything to win the game. For 85 minutes we controlled everything and created enough chances to score four or five goals. It is difficult to take.”

But it simply isn’t good enough to switch off because you are winning. While this can be in part blamed on the players, the fact that it has happened before (need I remind you about Southampton) shows there is something wrong with Benitez’s tactics.

I also think the decision to play Torres was poor, given that he was pretty much invisible for the match against Brentford, but of course for that one touch which left us with a goal. He was no doubt tired, and even though he played fairly well, Demba Ba should really have started.

If there ever was justification to sack a Chelsea manager it would be now. I haven’t necessarily agreed with a lot of Abramovich’s rash decisions, but keeping Rafa at the club is clearly going to help no one.

What do you think?

Should Rafa be sacked?
